Requests for Disclosure, Correction or Deletion

If a person wishes to request disclosure, correction, deletion or other handling of his or her own personal information, our firm will respond appropriately after confirming the identity of the person making the request.

Disposal of Confidential Documents

With respect to documents generated within our firm that are to be disposed of, our firm uses two methods depending on the level of confidentiality: business-use shredding and document dissolution processing with a certificate of completion.

Copies of application documents and other documents submitted to patent offices, courts or other governmental authorities that have already been made public may be disposed of by shredding. In contrast, internal documents received from clients and other confidential documents contained in closed matter files are disposed of by dissolution processing.
